  1. Next time you come to our house we will go visit the Ford Museum in GR. You will like seeing all the items there and the replica of the oval office in the White House.

  2. Maxine,
It's Mrs. Smith. I have a fun personal fact about my family and President Ford. As I am sure you know, Gerald Ford lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for some time. My grandmother told me that her father, my great-grandfather, acted as a bit of a father figure to him (I believe his dad had died when Gerald was young). My great grandfather was a lawyer and graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. My great grandfather helped Gerald Ford go into politics (I believe first the Senate). I believe my great grandfather died close to about the time when Gerald Ford became president, but I am not sure if he lived to see it come true.

I love this blog of yours!
I am sure with all of your dedication that one day you MAY become the first Lady President!

    Sincerely, Mrs. Smith

  3. You are really doing a great job with your stories on President Ford and the other presidents who were great history makers. As you probably know Gerry Ford was a favorite of mine when I was a young man. Keep up the good work.
